Youngstown Forward is a think tank, and an initiative, dedicated to bringing about a serious, meaningful, economic and social resurgence in Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, extending into the Shenango Valley. Our mission is to shed light on transformative opportunities that actually empower our region to thrive, by way of elevating the economic and financial capacity of the people that make up its population.
It is the belief of Youngstown Forward that by focusing on four key areas—Technology, Transportation Infrastructure, Education, Business and Innovation—we can pave the way for a remarkable turnaround of Youngstown, a return to its glory, and towards a more prosperous and vibrant future.
The vision is extremely grand, and the thinking to to achieve this is completely out-of-the-box, and far reaching. Many of the ideas of Youngstown Forward are certainly needing to have meaningful and serious, as well as trustworthy, collaboration with local leaders, businesses, and community members to drive real growth and create lasting change.
